Land Of Hope

We all come here with lots of hope
we dream of a land where milk and honey flows
we hoped to pick up money from the streets
and all the beds were done with blossom white sheets

We trusted some guys
they promised paradise
a life in abundance and eternal love
we believed that it‘s a romance
and a chance
that seemed to come from above
but we were blind and very naive
we were misguided cheated mistreated beyond belief

I really hoped for better and doubted is this all I can be
now I pull myself together and create my own reality
I‘ll take my life in my own hands
after belief comes hope and love and another chance

We all come here with lots of hope...
