Don‘t Stay Quiet
by Sabine Fiegl
I can‘t hide, I don‘t want to
I don‘t want to be quiet, no I don‘t want to
Sometimes there is this bitterness inside
that I can‘t hide
I can‘t hide this bitterness inside
So please let me spit it out
I need to say it out loud
It‘s all about money
we really do think it‘ll set us free
and get us out of our misery
It‘s all about eternal youth
not about living the truth
So, making money and cosmetic surgery
are the priorities
it‘s insane, it‘s a shame, it‘s a bad game
that is insane
I can‘t hide, I don‘t want to
I don‘t want to stay quiet, no I don‘t want to
It‘s all about selling sex and lies
it‘s about profit not maintaining lives
it‘s all about decreasing expenditure
it‘s about profit not maintaining nature
Money can get us out of the ghetto
but we can‘t get the ghetto out of us
All around the world and up to the moon we fly
while people starve and die
In the name of the Lord there‘s war we justify
while innocent children die
while people starve and die
our brothers and sisters die
that is insane, that is a shame, that is a bad game
that is insane
I can‘t hide, I don‘t want to
I don‘t want to be quiet, no I don‘t want to
Don‘t stay quiet, don‘t stay quiet
